Terex Demag is specialized in the production of heavy machinery. In 1827 Dinglerwerke was founded in Germany by Christian Dingler. That was the basis for what later would become Terex Demag. The company started with the production of cranes for the mining and steel industry. These days, Terex Demag manufactures  telescopic boom all terrain, truck and crawler cranes with a lifting capacity from 30t to 3,200t.
