The name NAGANO stands for Nagano Industry, a Japanese manufacturer established in 1968 that began as an electrical components maker before moving into mini tracked excavators and, from 1984, telescopic crawler boom lifts. For many years the company built platforms on an OEM basis for other well-known Japanese brands, including Aichi's first platforms, before developing its own range of crawler tracked aerial lifts based on decades of empirical feedback from job sites working in challenging terrain. Nagano has changed ownership more than once over the past decade, and PFEIFER Heavy Machinery has been appointed Nagano's official dealer for Europe and the rest of the world, working directly with the manufacturer since first contact in December 2017.

Used and new NAGANO machines at PFEIFER fall into the Tracked Boom Lifts category. The NAGANO S15AUJ is a diesel Tracked Boom Lift with a 15 metre working height, 250kg capacity, and 360° continuous turntable rotation, built with rubber pad shoes and an oscillating roller to minimise ground damage and absorb vibration on rough terrain. Powered by a compact Kubota diesel engine, it is designed for precise, stable access on uneven or sensitive ground where wheeled machines would struggle.
