The name MAGNI traces back to 1972, when Pietro Magni, a tractor mechanic and tower crane builder, founded the company Fargh SpA in Italy with his children. Fargh went on to build the first telescopic handler in Europe in the 1980s, and later entered a 27-year partnership with Manitou Group before Pietro's son Riccardo Magni founded the independent company Magni Telescopic Handlers in 2013, together with his own children. Based in Castelfranco Emilia in the Emilia-Romagna region, Magni grew rapidly from its first two rotating telehandler models into a range of more than 40 machines, including fixed-boom, heavy-duty, and rotating telehandlers as well as aerial platforms. The company holds two world records in the category: the highest load capacity for a rotating telehandler and the greatest lifting height, at 51 metres. Now exporting to more than 150 countries, Magni is recognised as a global leader in rotating telehandlers and lifting platforms.
