Deployment of our machines

To realise the renovation of the school buildings, several of our machines were deployed, such as telehandlers, forklifts and working platforms. The telehandlers and forklifts were used for lifting and moving heavy loads, while our various types of working platforms made working at heights easy and safe.

During the rental period, our large scissor lifts were also used due to their working range and lifting capacity. This allowed the existing and new facades to be fitted with insulation and new cladding very easily. Inside the school building, there were also many electric scissor lifts for the walls and ceilings, as well as for the technical installations. As the working platforms were used in an indoor area, the electric versions were chosen here because of emissions and durability.

The construction professionals took advantage of our AWP training courses at our accredited training centre. This enabled them to work properly and safely with our machines, including the Hoeflon c6. They used this indoors at the new atrium to install (new) window frames and glass. We visited the site and checked with the customer to see which working platform was most useful here. We then also gave advice.

Customised solutions.

During the renovation of the school buildings, a sustainable, electric forklift truck with a load capacity of 3 tonnes was available to supply the customer and subcontractors with the materials required for the project and to load the working platforms on which they were operating. We also had bespoke wheeled tipping skips made in consultation with the client. This allowed the dirt and rubble generated during the construction work to be removed as efficiently and ergonomically as possible.

Interferences.

If there were any breakdowns with the machines, they were usually resolved by phone. Due to the long rental period, our mechanics also visited in between to check the batteries and refill them where necessary. This enabled us to proactively prevent problems.
